OBITUARY Ted Chester June 15, 1928 – December 11, 2018 Ted Chester, 90, of Belton, Missouri passed away on December 11, 2018. Ted was born in Wink, Texas the second youngest of eight children. After high school he served in the Seabees, returning to Carlsbad, New Mexico where he worked and enjoyed rodeo and polo.

In Carlsbad he met and married Beverly Jean Coons in 1955. They moved to Kansas City in 1959 to work for Joe Mackey at Somerset Stables. He then worked in the animal health division of Chemagro.

In 1969 he went to work as the farm manager at Red Fox Farm, until he retired. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Beverly Jean Chester; daughter, Brenda Jean (Tom) Tietze; and sons, Steven Foster Chester and James Todd Chester. A visitation will be held from 10:00–11:00 a.m. Followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, at Mt.

Moriah Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO.
