Helen Mae Nicholson of Irving, Texas July 18, 1929 – March 3, 2019 Helen Mae Nicholson, age 89, of Irving, died Sunday, March 3, 2019, in a Grapevine care center. Born July 18, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Lexie Smith. She was a retired receptionist for Fidelity Investments.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Joyce Stephens and her husband J. R. Nicholson, she is survived by two daughters, Jackie Hood of Keller and Lisa Nicholson of Watauga, TX; and two sons Bobby Sticher of Sulphur Springs and Jim Sticher of Garland, TX; step-son, Mike Nicholson of Garland; and a step-daughter, Cheri Martin of Longview, Texas; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
