Obituary of Helen Beck Helen Thomas Beck, 82, of Siler City died Monday, October 8, 2018 at Coventry House Of Siler City. Mrs. Beck was born in Chatham County on September 13, 1936 the daughter of Thomas Jesse and Georgie Estelle (Jennings) Thomas. Helen was a member of Moon’s Chapel Baptist Church and had been employed at Boling Chair in the shipping department but first and foremost she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Don and Bill Thomas; sister, Betty Thomas Phillips. Helen is survived by her husband of 59 years: William Welford Beck; special nieces, Pam Isley of Liberty and Ann Cargill of Greenville, NC and a host of other nieces and nephews; special friends, Scott, Elizabeth, Ashlyn and Meredith Faw. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Moon’s Chapel Baptist Church, 175 Moon’s Chapel Road, Siler City, NC.

The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Faw officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Moon’s Chapel Baptist Church. The family wishes to express their heart felt appreciation to Coventry House and Community Home Care & Hospice for the loving care and the many kindnesses extended to them during Helen’s illness. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
