Obituary of Helen Daney WALLINGFORD – Helen Daney, 93, of Wallingford, departed this life on April 18, 2018 at Quinnipiac Valley Center in Wallingford. Helen was born in Meriden, CT on February 5, 1925 to the late Frank and Vera Dyne, whom changed their family surname to Daney after migrating from Hungary. She worked as a physical therapist for many years before her retirement.

Helen is survived by her one sister: Barbara Daney of Wallingford. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her five siblings: Ella Daney, Margaret Daney Goodison, Frank Daney, Jr., Joseph Daney, and Edward J. Daney. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Road in Wallingford.

Interment will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery in Wallingford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Helen’s honor may be forwarded to the Church of the Resurrection Building Fund, 115 Pond Hill Rd. , Wallingford, CT 06492.
