Helen Elizabeth Hoppman Ritchotte, 96, of Orange Park, FL passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born September 24, 1922 in Norwich, CT to the late Joseph G. and Matilda A. (Moreau) Hoppman. Helen was a dedicated wife, loving mother and cherished Memere, as her grandchildren called her.

She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Helen is predeceased by her parents; husband, George; sons, Donald Ritchotte and Robert Ritchotte; brother, Joseph Hoppman and sister, Doris Field. She is survived by her children, Charles (Lucille) Ritchotte, Ann Marie (Alan) Phillips and Paul (Cindy) Ritchotte; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild and sister, Alice Calise.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Monday, December 3, 2018 in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 7190 Hwy 17 South, Fleming Island, FL 32003 with Fr. Mike Pendergraft as Celebrant.
