Obituary of Helen Polenz Schenectady – Helen Hall Fisher Polenz, born August 18, 1918, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2018 at the Teresian House. She was predeceased by her husband Bernard Fisher, daughter Ann Steffens and great-granddaughter Julianna Rubino. She is survived by her son B. Donald (Carol) Fisher and granddaughters Tracey Rubino, Diana (Brian) Garforth, Johanna (Todd) Zbytniewski, Georgette (Nate) Altimari; great- granddaughters Kara Ward, Raegan and Riley Altimari and great-grandson Anthony Rubino.

Helen was also predeceased by her husband Chester Polenz and stepson Edward (Stacy) Wells. She is also survived by step children Father Gordon Polenz, Victoria Wells, James (Adrienne) Polenz, Marsha (Rick) Mcfeeters, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In keeping with Helen’s wishes, there will be no service.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. He family wishes to thank the Mt. Carmel East staff of the Teresian House for the loving care they gave Helen.

Memorial contributions may be made to Teresian House Foundation, 200 Washington Ave. Ext. , Albany, NY 12203, in Helen’s name.
