Henry’s Obituary Henry Foster Nicholes, 98, of Frederick, formerly of California, passed on Friday, February 22, 2019 at his home. Born January 13, 1921 in Utah to the late Foster Nicholes and Olive Foster. He was the beloved husband to the late Mary Lunt Nicholes.

Foster grew up in Long Beach, CA. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked in public accounting and company management.

He was an active member and dedicated leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Foster was devoted to his family. He enjoyed genealogy and built an extensive library of family histories.

He is the father of four children. He is survived by his daughters Sheila Hood (Bill) and Donna Robison (Stanley), and foster daughter Naomi Wilkes. He is the grandfather of fourteen and great grandfather of ten.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by sons Craig Nicholes, Bruce Nicholes, and his sister Kathryn N. Carmer. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 199 North Place, Frederick, MD 21701 from 10am until the start of the funeral service at 11am. Burial will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA.
