Obituary for Herbert H. Graff Print Herbert H. Graff of Wappingers Falls departed this earthly life January 21, 2019 after a long illness. Herbert was born in Kassel, Germany 1932 to Rudolf Graff and Elfriede Faulwetter. At 17 years he came to the United States and soon enlisted in the Armed Forces where he worked on communications equipment for the Army.
He excelled in mathematics, technology and problem solving and soon began a long and successful career at IBM Poughkeepsie. After his retirement from IBM he worked as a self employed computer consultant. Herbert was an avid outdoorsman and his hobbies included fixing equipment and airplanes and he was a member of EAA Chapter 246 Herbert is survived by his wife of over 60 years Florence, and his three daughters Joanne, Dionne and Carolyn.
Public visitation and viewing will be at Delehanty Funeral Home on 64E Main Street in Wappingers Falls New York on Friday evening January 25th from 4:00pm till 7:00pm. His family, friends and business associates very much miss this wonderful human being. God bless Herbert Graff.
