Herminia’s Obituary Herminia ”Minnie” P. Flores was called home, by the Lord, for her eternal rest on January 26, 2019 at the age of 89. She was born on September 23, 1929 in Karnes City, Texas to Evaristo and Conception Paiz. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Aunt and friend to all who knew her.

She was a strong, caring, giving person who was very independent. Minnie loved attending Mass at St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Flour Bluff. Most days you could find her chatting with family and friends, cooking, crocheting, sewing or in her rocker doing word search puzzles with while her faithful dog and companion Molly laid by her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio “Tony” G. Flores, her parents, one brother and five sisters. She leaves behind, to cherish her memories, daughter Amelia “Mel” (Jesse) Alonzo, sons Amador “Army” (Becky) Flores, Abel Flores and Arthur “Art” Flores; all from Corpus Christi, Texas. She had 8 wonderful grand-kids and 15 great grandchildren; who will be missing their Memo very much.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 2233 Waldron Road in Corpus Christi, TX. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass.

In lieu of flowers the family request all donations be made to the Bereavement Committee at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
