Monson- Hilda R. (Dubuque) Carr, 84, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Wingate @Wilbraham. Hilda was born August 24, 1933 in Vermont to the late Wyman and Julia Dubuque, She has been a resident of Monson for many years. She enjoyed word search puzzles and her greatest joy came from taking care of her family.

Hilda was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Carr; her son William Donais and two brothers Wyman and Andree Dubuque. She leaves her daughters, Darlene Smith and her husband Don of Keene, NH and Rosemarie DeLand and her husband Robin of Monson; two sisters Leona Collins of Monson and Hazel Sullivan of Colorado; five grandchildren, Heather Chaiffre, Sara DeLand, Robin J. DeLand, Tasha Smith and Nicole Ouellette; two great grandchildren, John Anthony Miles and Harper Ouellette as well as several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Monday, July 23, 20118 from 6-8pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter 111 Young Rd. East Brookfield, MA 01515.
