Hildegarde Hope Daly was born September 29, 1936 in Providence, RI to Michael & Edith Daly. She lived in North Providence until 2016. She then resided at Hillsboro House Nursing Home in Hillsboro, NH, where she spent her final years with family.

She worked at AMS for 30 years finishing up her career as Director of Meetings and Conferences. When she retired she volunteered as a docent at Roger Williams Park Zoo. She was known for her sense of humor, love of animals, especially cats, her gardens, collecting antiques, and her love for genealogy.

She is survived by her loving brother, Donald Daly and his wife Mina; her nephews, Michael Daly, James Daly his wife Jennifer; her niece Kathleen Peschel and her husband Richard; her Grandnieces, Jessica Peschel and Chloe Daly; her Grandnephew, Richard Peschel, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Donations may be made in Hope Daly’s name to Roger Williams Park Zoo, 1000 Elmwood Ave, Providence, RI 02907.
