Hildred Alice Derwacter, 88 of Zanesville passed away on September 21, 2018 at the Morrison House in Zanesville while under the care of Genesis Hospice. Alice was born in Zanesville on January 7, 1930. She is the daughter of the late Chancy and Edna (Blakeney) Wisecarver.

She worked for 46 years for Essix Wire as a line technician. She loved crossword puzzles, spending time with company and especially enjoyed her family get togethers. Alice is survived by her two sisters, Dorothy Berkshire and June Harrier; several nieces and nephews; her great-niece Mandy; great-nephews, Richard and Austin and a special friend, Betty Saxton.

In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Derwacter; her sisters, Betty, Edith, Marjorie and her brother Chancy Wisecarver Jr. Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm on Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1 pm with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
