OBITUARY Ina B Carpenter April 30, 1924 – January 7, 2019 Ina B. Carpenter, 94, passed away on January 7th, 2019 at her home, with family by her side. Ina was born to Albert and Minnie Bell Burton on April 30th, 1924 in Kentucky. Ina graduated from St. Bernard High School in Cincinnati, OH.

She went on to marry William Carpenter who passed away in 1993. Ina leaves behind her daughter, Barby Suffield of Kokomo; sister Mary Louise Harju of Springfield, MO; grandson William (Savanna) Suffield of Kokomo; great-grandchildren Izabella, William, and Noah Suffield; and several nieces and nephews. Ina is preceded in passing by her parents; her husband; and 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 11th at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 12th at 1:00 PM also at the mortuary. Ina will be laid to rest at Grant Memorial Park following the service.
