OBITUARY Larry Ray Martin Sr. August 13, 1944 – December 29, 2018 Larry Ray Martin Sr., 74, of Kokomo passed away at 8:33 PM on Saturday December 29, 2018 at Waterford Place Health Campus. Born August 13, 1944 in Kokomo, Indiana, he was the son of the late Clyde Martin and Edith (Davis) Martin. On March 30, 1963 in Kokomo, he married Mary (Yocom), and she survives.

He was employed at Med-O-Bloom Dairy and also Kolux Sign for 24 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in the yard, and spending time with his grandkids. Larry never met a stranger and loved the LORD.

Survivors include his wife Mary Martin of Kokomo; two sons Larry Ray Martin Jr of Kokomo, Steven A. (Sherri) Martin of Kokomo; two brothers Bernard (Sue) Martin of Kokomo, Dale (Marie) Martin of Kokomo; one sister Joyce (Bill) Gilbert of Kokomo. There are five grandchildren Steven Jr., Ashley, Stacey, Courtney and Zackary. There are also nine great grandchildren Tyler, Noah, Keylee, Luke, Kaydie, Riley, Evie, Jaxson, and Logan.

He will also be missed by his faithful companion Gunner. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Max Martin; three sisters Wanda Martin, Carol Martin, and Patsy Braden; one granddaughter Stephanie Nicole Martin. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday January 3, 2019 at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 South Main Street, Kokomo.

Pastor Jim Strunk will officiate. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday; also one hour prior to services on Thursday at the mortuary.
