Obituary for Irene Elizabeth Robey Irene Elizabeth Robey, age 85 of Brandywine, Maryland, died December 7, 2018 at her home. Born March 17, 1933 in Cedarville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Andrew D. Baden and the late Mabel E. Hyde Baden. Mrs. Robey was a lifetime member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Baden, Maryland.

She attended Baden Elementary and Gwynn Park High School and she worked as a grocery clerk for 24 years at Cedarville Grocery. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband of 29 years, Joseph M. Robey, Jr.; her infant sister, Frances Marie Baden; and her brother, Richard Baden and his wife Edith. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Philip Robey and Daniel Wayne Robey; her daughter, Carolyn Ann Sapp and her husband Russell; her grandchildren, Cher Ann Chaney and her husband Richard, Russell Joseph Sapp and his wife Rianna, Jeffery David Sapp; and her brother, Franklin Baden and his wife Elizabeth “Betty”.

Friends received on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 9:30AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 17502 Aquasco Road, Brandywine, Maryland 20613. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in Irene’s name are asked to St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 17502 Aquasco Road, Brandywine, Maryland 20613.
