Obituary for Mrs. Irene Hedgepeth Bigelow Mrs. Irene Hedgepeth Bigelow, 68 of Durham peacefully entered her eternal resting place on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Mrs. Bigelow was born February 12, 1950, to the late Arthur Hedgepeth and Fannie L. Hedgepeth. She is survived by her devoted husband, Willie Ronnie Bigelow; her son, Gary Anthony Bigelow and his fiancée, Kewanna Sloan; one sister, Patricia Kelley and one brother, Lionel Hedgepeth (Portia).

Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 1:00 pm, with a visitation beginning at 12:30 pm, at Immanuel Temple Seven-Day Adventist Church, 2102 S. Alston Ave. , Durham, NC. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Duke University Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center, Durham, NC.
