Irene Ahlgrim, age 87, of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 07, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was an Indiana Native, born January 16, 1931 to the late James Vevar Rider and Mable Elizabeth Scheer Rider. She was an educator in the Demotte, Indiana School System and was of the Christian faith.

She was a member of the Civil War Round Table Club in Clarksville, Tennessee, a member of the Red Hat Society and the Past Finders. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Gerald Ahlgrim. She is survived by: Her Twin Sister ~ Jean Schooler and husband, William ~ Delphi, IN 2 Nephews ~ William Bruce and James Gregory and their families Irene Ahlgrim had requested cremation and there will be a Celebration of Life in her honor at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Civil War Round Table Club; envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Summers, Kirby and Sanders is in charge of the arrangements.
