Obituary of Irvin Brewington Irvin Franklin Brewington, 82, of Shad Point, joined his Savior on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at PRMC in Salisbury. Born January 3, 1936, he was a son the late Franklin and Marguerite Shores Brewington. He is survived by his two children, Douglas Brewington and Marcia Robin Brewington; the mother of his children Dee Klempner; brother-in-law, Wayne Barbely; nephew Troy Barbely; special cousins, Bob (Wanda) Shores and Janet Dize.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Brewington Barbely. Irv retired from the Wicomico County Board of Education, where he was the Plumbing Instructor at the Vocational Technical Center in Salisbury, he was also active in many extracurricular activities with the students, especially Skills Olympics. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, Gideons International and past President of the Retired Teachers Association.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Holloway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Shad Point Cemetery. Rev.

Lou Bradley will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to Gideons International and Calvary Baptist Tabernacle. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A. 501 Snow Hill Rd.
