J. B. Thomas, Jr., age 67, passed on Saturday, September 22, 2018 with his loving wife, Alice Thomas and family by his side at home. He was born to Jr. B. Thomas, Sr. and Marjorie Thomas on April 20, 1951 in Gary, IN. On June 6, 1970; J. B. married the love of his life, Alice Gardner; to this union one devoted son, J. B. Thomas, III and one loving daughter, Lenience (Lawrence) Moore.

J. B. graduated from Calumet High School, Class of 1969. He worked at U. S. Steel Mill for 34 year before retiring in 2003. Visitation will be today, Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roosevelt Bradley officiating the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Life Church International, 430 E. Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46409.

Burial will be at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, IN. J. B. will be dearly missed by his family and precious friends. God Grant Him Eternal Rest.
