Bruce Campbell, 62, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, in his home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. He was born April 29, 1955 in Logan, Utah to Therrall and Bonnie Joy Campbell. He was the third of six children.

He was raised in Weston, Idaho and resided there his entire life, minus the two years he served an LDS mission in Sao Paulo (a year of that was served in West Virginia waiting for his visa). Following his mission, he was sealed to his high school sweetheart, Vera Stevenson, on September 17, 1976 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with 4 children, three daughters and then finally a son.

Bruce was active in all auxilliaries of the LDS church serving as ward clerk for twelve years, Young Mens President, Bishop, YSA High Councilman, and YSA Bishop. He supported his wife and children through an electrical contracting business, JABCO, that he and his brothers, Alan and Jeff, started in 1981. Bruce enjoyed anything that meant he could spend time with his sweetheart Vera.

They enjoyed serving the Lord through church callings, going on Razor rides, fishing on their pontoon boat, tinkering in his wood shop, and creating memories with his 12 grandkids. He especially loved creating magical Christmas parties that his family enjoyed for years. Santa had nothing on Grandpa!

Bruce is survived by his mother, Bonnie Joy Reeder (Martin Reeder) Hyde Park, UT; wife Vera Stevenson Campbell, Weston, ID; daughters, Audrie Bernhardt (Tom), Nibley, UT; Mandie Anderson (Conrad), Smithfield, UT; Chelsie Brown (Robert), Providence, UT; sisters, Judy Smart (Steven), Chubbuck, ID; Trudy Neilsen (Floyd), Draper, UT; brothers Alan Campbell (Karri), Weston, ID; Jeff Campbell (Debbie), Weston, ID; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by father Therrall Campbell, brother Kelly Campbell, and son, Jordan Bruce Campbell. Funeral services will be held Monday April 23, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Weston LDS Chapel.

A viewing will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the church and Monday from 10:30-11:30 am. also at the church. Interment will be in the Weston Cemetery.
