Dealous Simmons September 06, 1943 – January 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card SERVICES: Friday, January 25, 2019 Okahola Baptist Church, Purvis 11:00 a.m. INTERMENT: Oak Grove Cemetery VISITATION: Thursday, January 24, 2019 Jones and Son Funeral Home 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Services for Mr. Jimmy Dealous Simmons, age 75, of Oak Grove, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Okahola Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Simmons retired as a floor supervisor with Northern Electric where he worked for over 25 years. He was a faithful member of Okahola Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly Simmons, and his parents, Smiley Haney and Myrtle Simmons.

He is survived by his sons,Casmus Simmons, Thomas Simmons, and Dennis Simmons, all of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, Cyyrus Simmons, Skyy Simmons, Jon Thomas Simmons, and Josh Boyer, and his sister, Jencie Dollar of Atlanta, TX. Visitation for Mr. Simmons will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Hattiesburg and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Okahola Baptist Church.
