OBITUARY J. R. Boles September 18, 1937 – September 22, 2018 J. R. Boles, 81, of Greeneville, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. He was retired from the Greeneville Police Department after 30 years of service and was owner/operator of J. R. Boles and Son/Mountain Valley Transportation. Mr. Boles was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years: Barbara Boles; a son and daughter-in-law: Keith and Sandra Boles; a daughter and son-in-law: Becky and Charlie Aiken; grandchildren: Angelina Greene, Dora Koreen Johnson, Adrian Stokely; seven great grandchildren; two brothers: Bobby Boles and wife, Gladys, Sammy Boles; a sister and brother-in-law: Helen and Dusty Holmes; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Charles and Betty Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Ralph and Hattie Boles and was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Love and Sarah Boles. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Brad Higgins and Pastor Todd Ricker officiating. Interment will be 11 am Wednesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 am Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Andrew Turner, Ricardo Aldaco, Stefan Hickman, Javier Cortes Morales, Glen Hilton, Adrian Stokely and James Adkins.
