OBITUARY J. S. Fillers Jr. July 2, 1934 – October 21, 2018 J.S. Fillers Jr., 84, of Greeneville, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at his home. He was a retired independent milk hauler for Pet Milk Company. Mr. Fillers was a member of Solomon Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years: Wanda Ricker Fillers; daughters and sons-in-law: Tammy and Buddy Judd, Joetta and Ricky Shelton, Loetta and David Jones; grandchildren and spouses: Jeremy and Amber Mathes, Justin and Ashley Judd, Chris Judd, Zachary Jones, Adam Shelton, and Kendall Shelton; great grandchildren: Presley Mathes, Jace Mathes, and Cooper Judd; sisters: Betty Waddell and Madelyn Greene; sister-in-law; Shirley Waddell: and several special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Junior and Ruth Fillers; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary and Ray Peterson, Novella and Guy Ellenburg, Edna King; brothers-in-law and spouses: Clinton Waddell, H.C. Greene, Nolan and Liz Ricker, Norman and Edna Ricker, Albert and Nancy Ricker, Don and Peggy Ricker, and Kenneth Waddell; and sisters-in-law: Clennis Jennings and Ollie Ruth Hensley. The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Thursday at Solomon Lutheran Church.

The funeral service will be held immediately following at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jim Fillers and Rev. Sterling Nelson officiating.

Interment will follow in Solomon Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and sons-in-law. The family wishes to express a special thanks to his many friends and the staff of Amedisys Hospice.
