Leichtman, 56 of Ashland passed away May 1, 2019 in Ashland Jack was born in Milwaukee March 16, 1963 and grew up in both Oulu and Mason WI. Jack felt blessed to have four wonderful foster parents: Arnie and Elsie Pyykola, and John and Joyce Hare. Jack was united in marriage to Marcene Dormady December 4, 1993.

Jack wore many hats in his life, from running a dairy farm to being an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed fixing (and breaking) things, wood working, fishing, hunting, yardwork , and tinkering with things around the house. He was also proud to serve time in the Air Force.

He was an avid packer fan and rarely missed a game. His grand-kids were the lights of his life and he never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Marcene Leichtman, Step-son Tony (Sandi) Basley, Step-daughter Leighann (Dave) Granados, Grandsons David Granados, Wyatt Granados, and A.J Basley, and Granddaughter: Kaitlyn Basley.

Foster Parents John and Joyce Hare and numerous biological and foster brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and in-laws He was proceeded in death by his foster parents Arnie and Elsie Pyykola and Mother and Father in law John and Fern Dormady, and his beloved dog Peggy. Jack never liked being the center of attention and by his wishes there will be a private memorial for family at a later date.
