Obituary for Jack Burnette Jack Monroe Burnette, 86, of Greenwood, widower of Mary Louise Willis Burnette, died Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Everett City, GA, he was a son of the late Raymond Benjamin George and Helen Viola Smith Burnette. Jack was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and was formerly employed with Parke Davis and Capsugel.

He was blessed with 61 years of marriage to his beloved wife. Surviving are his sons, Monroe Burnette (Rhonda) and Russell Burnette (Tammy), both of Greenwood; a brother, John Burnette of Joanna; four grandchildren, Hailey Woods (Matt), Kenslie Burnette, Tyler Burnette and Cody Burnette; and two great grandchildren. No services are planned.
