Obituary for Mr. Jack David Haley Mr. Jack D. Haley, 78, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd. , Olive Branch, MS 38654).
A committal service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, TN (4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125). Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Haley was born on January 23, 1940, in Memphis, but has lived in Byhalia, MS, for his resting years.
Mr. Haley enjoyed many past times, one of them included golfing. When not on the golf course, one could find Mr. Haley tending to his garden. He could not wait for that time of year where he could plant and harvest his wide variety of vegetation.
Mr. Haley also had a creative imagination where he would use it while writing short stories. One of his favorite television shows was Wheel of Fortune, he would never miss an episode. Most of all Mr. Haley cherished the time he got to spend with his family and friends.
Mr.Haley leaves behind his wife, Suzanne Haley of Byhalia; two sons, Daniel (Jessica) Haley of Olive Branch, and John Haley of Memphis; daughter, Patricia Cairnes of Knoxville, TN; two brothers, Jerry Haley of Collierville, TN, and Robert (Linda) Haley of Bartlett, TN; two grandsons, Spencer Haley of Olive Branch, and David Duff of Memphis; three granddaughters, Sarah Morgan Haley of Olive Branch, Shannon Duff of Memphis, and Ashley Cairnes of Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Enox and Lorene Haley; sister, Doris Parrish; and three brothers, Gene Haley, James Haley, and Charles Haley.
