Obituary for Mr. James “Mike” White Mr. Mike White, 70, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford, MS. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 24, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Bay Springs Baptist Church (21 CR 265, Abbeville, MS 38601). Bro.

Jay Derryberry will officiate. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements. Mr. White was born in Oxford.

He spent most of his life as a farmer. Mr. White also worked up to be a Deacon at Bay Springs Baptist Church in Abbeville, MS. He was also known as an avid outdoorsman.

Mr. White’s favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors. However, he loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren and family. Mr. White is survived by his daughter Heather (A.J.) Bullock of Rienzi, MS; three granddaughters, Micayla Bullock, Cera Grace Bullock, both of Rienzi, and Caren (Andrew) Switcher of Booneville, MS; one grandson, Allan Bullock of Booneville; two sisters, Bea (Ray) Frazier and Mary Joyce King, both of Oxford; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Carmen White and Dunbar Culley White; and one sister, Jo Ann Bailey. Donations and memorials may be made in honor of Mr. Mike White to Bay Springs Baptist Church. Online condolences may be left on the Tribute Wall at www.
