Fillmore — Jack E. Sherlock of 5940 Botsford Hollow Road died Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility, Warsaw. He was born on July 4, 1936 in Buffalo, a son of the late Emmett and Evelyn Carey Sherlock. He married Carol Minnier who predeceased him.

Jack was a former employee of the Fillmore Gas Station and a life member of the Short Tract Fire Department. He loved talking with his neighbors, reading, listening to country music and working on the farm. Surviving is a son, Michael (Sherri) Sherlock of Fillmore, seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a son Jesse J. Sherlock and a grandson, Josh Sherlock. Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11:00 am. Joel Stroud, pastor of the Hume Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore.
