Jack Willard Taylor, Sr. January 01, 1928 – May 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Jack Willard Taylor, Sr. “Pa”, age 91, of Opp, Alabama peacefully left this world on Thursday, May 30, 2019 in his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lottie Taylor; son, Jack Taylor, Jr.; grandchildren, Cody Taylor, Kristy Rucker (James), Daniel Schofield (Angela), and David Schofield (Missy); honorary grandchild, Kristy Sasser; great-grandchildren, Caleb Schofield, Carli Schofield, Shanna Taylor, Taylor Schofield, Cayla Schofield and Zac Schofield; and great-great grandchildren, Kaylee Schofield and Andrew Schofield. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael and daughter, Dianne.

Jack served the country that he loved for 25 years in the United States Army. He is a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, June 3, 2019 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with full military graveside honors following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Doyle Prescott will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers at the funeral home will be Steve Brooks, Shane Harrison, Roy Adams, Charlie Madden, Jimmy Flowers and Billy Ray Ashberry.
