OBITUARY Jacquelyn “Honey” Heintz Walter December 14, 1932 – November 8, 2018 Jacquelyn “Honey” Heintz Walter passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Martin E. Walter, Jr. Survived by daughters, Deborah Chatelain (Stephen) and Rachelle DeSalvo (Michael); son, Michael Walter (Amanda); brothers, Joseph Heintz and Franklin Heintz; grandchildren, Stephanie Cook (Russell), Jessica Sickinger (Steven), Jeffrey Chatelain, Chelsey Walter, Emily DeSalvo, Aiden DeSalvo, and Gage Walter; great-grandchildren, Natalie Cook, Justice Cook and Audrey Sickinger. Preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Heintz; father, Anthony Heintz; sister, Dolores Reynolds; brothers, Gerald Heintz, Robert Heintz, and James Heintz.

Honey was a devout catholic and her faith in God was remarkable. She enjoyed time with her family, trips to the casino and would take care of anyone in need. Anyone who met Honey, fell in love with her.

Her smile was infectious and her heart was contagious. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 12 PM.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. The family invites you to share your thoughts, fond memories, and condolences online at www.
