Jacquelyn Nancy Bolden passed away on Saturday, July 7th 2018. She was born on August 5, 1932. As the first child of Olga and Lud Boyce, Jacquie spent her childhood in Cleveland graduating from Collinwood High School in 1950.
She loved to dance and was a very talented artist. After graduating, she worked as a secretary in downtown Cleveland. She married Robert Bolden (deceased) April 16, 1953.
Throughout her life, Jacquie worked at Mentor High, in the pharmacy at K-Mart and as a receptionist for Thermotion; however, the job she loved the most was being a Mom and Grandma. She loved to read and garden, was an exceptional cook and decorated for every imaginable holiday. Jacquie was the best at finding the perfect gift for the holidays, never forgetting all of our cats and dogs.
She was exceptional at matching outfits, shoes and accessories. She is survived by her 3 children; Jackie (Gary) Swanson, Ken Bolden, and Roblyn (Ronnie) Jericho; 6 grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Jeremy, Timmy, Allison and Alex; 3 great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Evan and one on the way in November; a special grand-cat, Bert; her brother Butch (Kathy) and many nieces; nephews and friends. Our family would like to thank everyone at the Sanctuary of Geneva for all the care and love they showed our Mom over the past 2 and 1/2 years.
Also, a special thanks to the Hospice of the Western Reserve and the wonderful staff at David Simpson Hospice House who made her last days peaceful. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at The Assumption Church, 594 West Main Street Geneva, Ohio on Saturday, August 4, 2018.
