Carolyn Fenner Jewell, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 8, 2018. She was born April 12, 1937 in Mentor, Ohio to the late Arland and Pearl (Waite) Fenner. Carolyn was a longtime member of Crossroads Community Church (formerly known as First Baptist Church.
) She was a devout Christian who lived her faith through her loving example. She enjoyed being creative and was very talented working with stained glass designs, cross-stitching and gardening. Carolyn’s most important talent was her legacy as a caring mother who cherished her maturing role as a grandmother, great grandmother, teacher and matriarch.
Carolyn will be deeply missed by her children; Sandra Roberts, Diane Jewell (Joseph) Riley, Stephen (Lisa) Jewell, Robin Jewell, David (Melissa) Jewell and Cathy Jewell; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives and her cat, Tigger. In addition to her parents and siblings, Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Eugene Jewell. Friends may call 4-7 PM Thursday, June 14, 2018 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St. in Madison Village.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 15th, at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Haury officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Carolyn’s honor are suggested to Crossroads Community Church.
