James Aaron Rose, 87, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018. He was born February 23, 1931 in Kanawha County, WV to the late Walter Franklin Rose and Lola Mae Wiseman Rose. James honorably served his country in the US Air Force National Guard for 29 years.

He was a Constable, Chief of Police in WV and he was the Inspector for the State of WV. James retired as a sales representative from Aerial Photography of Charlotte. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, July 20, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Surviving: sons: John Randolph Rose of Raleigh, James Allen Rose (Ann) of KS; grandchildren: Jennifer Ashley Rose Carr (Aaron), Nathaniel Taylor Rose; great-grandchild, Jackson Allen Robert Carr. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jo Ann Taylor Rose on April 14, 2018.
