James’ Obituary James Addison Boyd, age 66, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Pruitt Healthcare in Savannah. James lived most of his life in Savannah. He has lived in Richmond Hill for the past three years.

He was a retired mechanic and former owner of A&D Service Center in Savannah. He was a tow truck driver for Oglethorpe Speedway for over 20 years. James was also a former member of the Optimist Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Addison and Sallie Ann Boyd; a brother, Lamar Braddy; and a sister, Janice Ahrens. James is survived by his two daughters, Mary Hewlett (John) and Michelle Wells (Daniel) both of Richmond Hill; his grandchildren, George Cain of Richmond Hill, James “Jake” Cain of Illinois, and Shania Cain of Richmond Hill; his great-grandchildren, Christopher Hewlett of Richmond Hill, Carson Cain of Texas, and Logahn Cain of Illinois. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation thirty minutes prior to the service.
