OBITUARY James “Bubba” Harold Guynes August 1, 1934 – November 22, 2018 James “Bubba” Harold Guynes, 84, of Beaumont, passed away on Thursday November 22, 2018 in Beaumont. Bubba was born in Hearne, Texas on August 1, 1934. He was preceded in death by his father; Lloyd Guynes, mother; Loretta Anne King Guynes Arledge, first wife; Ruth Guynes, and sister; Barbara Peevey.

Bubba is survived by his second wife of almost twenty years, Joyce Guynes of Beaumont, step-son; Kenny Riggs and wife Cynthia of Huntsville, daughter; Lori Sommer and husband Paul of Houston, two nieces; Lisa O’Brien of New York, Reni Westbrook of Mississippi, and nephew; Blake Peevey of Montana. Visitation will be held on Monday November 25, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Chilton Cemetery in Chilton, Texas under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
