James C. Dear, 64, of Weirton, WV, formerly of Steubenville died Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Cura Hospital, Oakdale, PA. He was born February 17, 1955 in Steubenville a son of the late Seward & Virginia “Izzy” Dear. He was a graduate of Steubenville High School and retired from Weirton Steel Co. Preceding Jim in death were five brothers Delvin Hanlin, Kenneth, John, Seward”Babe”, & Jerry Dear; three sisters Shirley Jackson, Mary Lou Diequez & Violet Ely.

He is survived by his son James Dear; four brothers Michael & Martin Hanlin, Jerome & Ralph Dear; seven sisters Lorna Grimm, Ellen Everhart, Vivian Bauer, Cindy Grimm, Brenda Carnahan, Ruth Haynes & Sandra Lancaster.
