Obituary for James Clifford “JC” “Smitty” Smith SMITH, Mr. James Clifford “JC” “Smitty” – age 73, passed away Tuesday November 6, 2018 at Stratford Place of Rochester Hills. Family hour 10:00AM Friday, November 16, 2018 at St. John United Methodist Church, 620 University Drive. , with Funeral service commencing immediately at 11:00AM.

Pastor Lester Mangrum, Officiating; Rev. Fredrick Moore, Eulogist. Family and Friends will assemble at the church 10:00AM Friday.

There will be No Public Viewing. Mr. Smith leaves to cherish his memory: children, Levento (Lakesha) Washington, Latonial Smith (Tony Pilgrim), Delondia “Lynet” Smith, Desma Smith (Lawrence Parker, Quincy Smith (Shalanda Stimage); thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; devoted and special friend, Gloria Fields; former wife, Harriett Smith; siblings, Roy Smith, Lois Ann (John) Williams, Katie (Roger) Holmes, Richard Joseph (Barbara Ann) Smith; all of Florida and other relatives and friends. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Naomi and John Smith; brothers, Damon Smith and Joe Louis Smith; and sister-in-law, Essie Smith.
