Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Monday.

Ms. Brooks will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10AM-4PM Sunday. Ms. Brooks leaves to cherish her memory:son, De’Anthony Brooks; parents, Felix Sr. and Beatrice Brooks; siblings, Felix (Carol) Brooks Jr., Sue Carol (James) Searcy, Henry (Julie) Brooks, Walter Brooks, Leslie (William) Brooks-Woods; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Ms. Brooks was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alberta and Jethro Brooks, Margaret Bernice Onque and Cecil Kaiser; uncles, Bobby Kaiser, Freddie Brooks, Buddy Walker, Lawrence Coleman, Archie Brooks; aunts, Ernestine Humphrey, Thelma Lockett, Lillie Parr, Charlie Robinson.
