James “Jimmy” Collins passed away April 7, 2018 after battling a prolonged illness. He was born in Myrtle Beach on May 7, 1958 and was the owner of J&R Painting, Inc He is survived by his wife, Angela, and his cherished daughters, Mackenzie and Catherine.

He is also survived by his mother, Eva Dell Collins, two brothers, Robert Collins and Jeffrey Collins, a sister, Deborah Jones and special friend Mary Ann Barron. A casual celebration will be held at Christ United Methodist Church at Fantasy Harbor on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 5:00 P.M. The family will greet visitors after the service. In lieu of flowers, Jimmy asked that people make donations to American Cancer Society.
