A funeral service for Mr. Whittington will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Monday, December 24, 2018 at Stover Memorial Chapel. Mr. Whittington was born in Shenandoah County, VA on October 5, 1957 a son of Max Hunter Whittington and Dolly Lee Drummonds Golliday.

Survivors include his father Max Hunter Whittington and wife Shirley of Oral Lake, AZ; his mother, Dolly Lee Drummonds Golliday and husband Richard of Maurertown, VA; his children, Jonathan Dale Whittington and wife Leann, Megan De’an Whittington, Jessica Christine Jenkins and husband Kenny and Ethan James Whittington; his grandchildren, Brayden, Alic, Deagan, Landon, Andy, Tatumn, Princeton, Cameron, Tori and Logan; his siblings, Brenda Peterson, Karen Whitestone, Randy Whittington and Ricky Whittington along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contribution may be made to Stover Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
