Graveside Services for James Donald Tate, 75, bookkeeper, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at West End Cemetery with Rev. Mike Hannah officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home. Donald was born in Stephenville, Texas, on March 2, 1943, to James Bennie and Lois (Little) Tate. He married Anita Sharlene Wood on March 11, 1972, in Johnsville, Texas.

Donald graduated from Lingleville High School in 1961 and Tarleton State College in 1965. Donald worked in the accounting departments for Winn-Dixie, Computer City, and Radio Shack. Donald loved talking with friends, walking, and family.

Survivors include his wife, Sharlene Tate of Stephenville, Texas; his daughter, Hallie Tate of Stephenville, Texas; and several cousins and friends.
