James Durant “Jim” Nixon, III, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the age of 50. He is the beloved father of Blaine Michael Nixon. He is the cherished son of James Durant Nixon, Jr. (Wanda) and Linda Arcement Nixon.

He is the loving brother of Jason David Nixon. He is the devoted uncle of Jason David Nixon, Jr He is the loving step- brother of Anthony E. Nuccio.

He is also survived by other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, January 24, 2019 beginning at 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd.
