James Dwight Foxx, 66, of Florence, passed away October 28, 2018 at ECM Hospital. He was a retired Crane Operator with IUOE Local #320, and a 1970 graduate of Central High School. Visitation will be Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 11-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.

The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Thomas Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Mr. Foxx was preceded in death by his father, James Price Foxx.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Trousdale Foxx; mother, Marcie Faye Foxx; daughters, April Foxx Kilpatrick (Chris), Vanessa Foxx (fiancé Mark Davis), Karla Foxx Jones (Chris), Monica Williams, and Tiffany White (Scotty); grandchildren, Brandon Kilpatrick (Kaity), Brooklyn Kilpatrick, Sierra Foxx (fiancé Mike Bahramy), Alexis Poliseno, Calvin Jones, Camryn Williams, Cayden Holden, Carmyn Williams, and Connor Holden; sisters, Patricia Foxx Young (Charles), Rena Foxx Cannon (Bart), and Karen Foxx Michael; several nieces and nephews; and great-aunts, Imogene Womble, Helen Byler, and Elaine Gallien. Pallbearers will be Charles Foxx Young, Chadwick Beau Young, Bart Cannon, Jonathan Cannon, Danny Murphy, and Lee Wade. Members of IUOE Local #320 will serve as honorary pallbearers.
