Martha Elizabeth Morris Wylie, 81, of Florence, passed away October 6, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side. She was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ. Visitation will be Monday, October 8, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Macedonia Church of Christ.

The funeral service will be at the church Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 1 p.m. with Donnie Allen and James Senn officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Mrs. Wylie was preceded in death by her parents, W.T. “Bill” Morris and Isabelle Mitchell Morris; and brothers, William and Floyd Morris.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Reuben Wylie; son, Richard Wylie (Robbie); daughter, Ann Chafin (Mike); brother, Robert Morris (Becky); sister, Sandra Kelsey; grandchildren, known to her grandchildren as “Mamaw Sugar-pie”, Beth Benson (Jess), Robyn Wylie, Rachel Pook (Matt), Justin Chafin (Kayla), and Reanna Chafin; and great-grandchildren, Peyton and Sydney Benson. Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Willie Bird, John Morris, Jim Morris, Dan Arnold, and Johnny Beasley.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rose Jones, Donna Taylor, Wanda Sue Cromwell, Ivy Leatherman, and Southern Care Hospice, for all the love and care they extended to her.
