Joanne Frank Barnett, 83, of Florence, passed away October 29, 2018. She was a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ; and volunteered with the Police Department, the American Red Cross, and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program. Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 2018 from 1:30-3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.

The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chris Moran and Kevin Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Barnett; parents, Carroll and Grace Frank; and brother, Richard Frank.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas and Robert Barnett both of Florence, and Bruce Barnett of Decatur; daughter, Debra M. Barnett, MD (Frances) of Tampa, FL; sisters, Dorothy Bushman Kubiak of Pemberville, OH, Virginia George (James) of Bloomdale, OH, and Elsie Newman (Larry) of Bowling Green, OH; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, or Mars Hill Church of Christ.
