Obituary for James Edward Sterns, Jr. In loving memory of James Edward Sterns Junior. August 10th 1960-January 4th 2019. Beloved husband of Katherine, beloved father of Danielle, Eric, Brandon and Brett, Father in law to Chris and Amanda, son to Marilyn and brother of Lynne and Craig.
James graduated from Clarkstown South and went on to attain a bachelors degree from Springfield University. He loved dogs, especially Bella and Bentley who will miss him dearly. He also loved sports, especially the Giants and Mets.
James was the most gentle soul you could ever meet, and touched everyone around him. He loved his family more than anything and would do anything for them. He leaves a void in their lives that will never be filled, and will be missed forever.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Ann’s RC Church in Nyack. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack. Visiting will take place on Monday from 5PM to 8PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack.
