Obituary for James Eric Fowler James Eric Fowler, age 51, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 in a Chattanooga hospital. Eric was the son of the late Katherine Merchant Fowler and James Lynn Fowler. His paternal and maternal grandparents, his aunt, Anita “Skeet” McNabb, his mother in law, Eleanor Wilson, his sister in law, Jackie Wilson and his brother in law, Rodney Wilson also preceded him in death.

Eric was a 1984 graduate of Cleveland High School. He worked as a General Contractor for 15 years, owning and operating Fowler Construction and along with his parents, he co-owned Roblyn’s Restaurant here in Cleveland. Eric enjoyed the outdoors including golf, hunting and fishing.

He loved buying and selling cars with his son Logan. Eric loved talking to people and he never met a stranger. He was fun loving and very friendly!

Most of all, he loved spending time with his kids and family. He was a loving husband and father! Eric was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Donna Fowler of Cleveland, his daughter, Shelby Fowler, his son, Logan Fowler and his fiancé Jordann Dempsey all of Cleveland, his Uncle, Bill McNabb of Chattanooga, his father in law, Jack Wilson of Cleveland, his sister in law, Cindy Moats and her husband Reverend Randy Moats of Cleveland and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Monday, February 19, 2018 at 4:00 P. M. from the Lebanon Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Moats officiating. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with David May, Joe Burns, John Burns, Mike Shaver, Mike Parker and J. R. Ivey serving as casket bearers.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P. M. Monday at the Lebanon Baptist Church. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements. You may share your condolences and your memories with Eric’s family at www.
