JAMES ERNEST CANIANO July 2, 1953 – December 25, 2018 James (Jim) Ernest Caniano, age 65, passed away at his home in Dunedin FL on Christmas Day due to complications from his long battle with Crohn’s disease. Jim was born on July 2, 1953 in Dobbs Ferry NY to and James and Frances Caniano. He graduated from Dobbs Ferry High School and was a proud alum of the University of South Florida.

Since 1986, Jim operated Precision Business Services, an accounting firm in Largo FL. Jim was preceded in death by his father, James. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted son of Frances Caniano of Vero Beach FL, brother to Patricia (Victor) Munoz of Vero Beach FL, uncle to Brian (Elizabeth) Burgess of Chulota FL, Dawn (Vincent) Oakes of Chattanooga TN, and Kristy (Bruce) Miller of Orange Park FL, and great-uncle to Brandon, Matthew, Luke, Sam, and Summer.

An avid golfer and strong supporter of local sports, Jim was a fan of the USF Bulls, the Tampa Bay Lighting, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while remaining a loyal supporter of his hometown New York Yankees. His funeral service will be held Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 2:00pm at Strunk Funeral Home, 916 17th Street, Vero Beach FL 32960.
