Obituary for James F. Simmons Mr. James Fletcher Simmons, 68, of Moss Point, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 in Ocean Springs, MS. James was retired from the Moss Point School District after of 40 years of service in the janitorial and maintenance department. He was a genuine person, always having a kind word for everyone he knew or just met.

He enjoyed gardening, and especially growing his flowers. He loved and had many friends at both Escatawpa Baptist Church and Ridglea Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Brumette Simmons, his parents, Ellison James and Maggie Louise Tucker Simmons.

brother, John Charlie Simmons, Grandparents, Charlie and Mary Magdalene Simmons, Step-grandmother, Zoro Simmons. James is survived by his loving sisters, Mary L. Parker, and Peggy Ruth Ward (James). Aunts, Eunice Wall and Florence Bounds.

Nephews, Robert Ward, Alvin Ward, Ellison Ward, Jerry ward, Luther Ward, Robert Alford, and Niece, Jennifer Alford, along with many cousins and friends. And his beloved fur baby, Dolly. Special friends, Willie Holmes, Mitch Osborne, Charlene and Billy Shields, Arlene and James Stallins, Mike Graham, Mr. Bill Bailey, and Melvin B. Along with many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday June 6, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Hwy 613, Moss Point, MS 39562. Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Escatawpa Baptist Church where friends may visit one hour prior to service. Rev.

Steve Cirlot will be officiating. Burial will be at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS. Pallbearers are; Ronnie Coleman, John George, Jimmy Miles, Steve Osborne, Mike Turner, Robert Alford, Skeeter Couch.

Mr. Bill Bailey will serve as honorary pallbearer. Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Please sign the online register book for Mr. Simmons at www.
