Obituary for James M. Gazaway WEATHERFORD – James “Jim” Milton Gazaway finally accomplished the goal he had desired for the past several months, early in the afternoon on Monday, April 16, 2018, he stepped into heaven. Jim was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Fort Worth to Cecil and Mary Ruth Gazaway.

He lived most of his life in Haltom City, but had recently moved to Weatherford. Before retiring, Jim worked for Lennox Air Conditioning for 32 years and then he worked 21 years for Mortex Products. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Cecil and Bob; his wife of 62 years, Jane; his daughter, Julia; and his great-granddaughter, Alexus.

Jim was survived by his daughters, Becky Ellinger of Fort Worth, Lori Tucker and husband, Curtis of Weatherford; grandchildren, Chrissie Corey and husband, Frank, Jessica Savage and husband, Randy, Tiffany Coba and husband, Tico, Lindsey West, Holly Tucker, Michael Tucker and wife, Jacqueline and Chelsea Ellinger; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Liberty, Alison, Jaxson, Andrew, and Jaren; and several nieces and nephews, friends and extended family.
